This Privacy Policy explains what information Kingdom 316 LLC [registration pending — state of formation to confirm] ("Kingdom 316", "we", "us") collects when you use the Kingdom 316 apps, website (kingdom316.com) and Church Studio (the "Service"), how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We don't sell your personal information.

1. A note about faith and sensitive information

Kingdom 316 is a Christian social network, so using it may reveal something about your religious beliefs. Prayer requests and testimonies can also include information about your health, family or other sensitive matters. In some places (for example, the EU and UK) this is "special category" data. We process it only to provide the features you choose to use, based on your explicit consent, which you give when you sign up and when you post. You control who sees what you share, and you can withdraw consent by deleting the content or your account.

2. Information you give us

• Account details: name, username, email or phone number, password, and your date of birth (to confirm you're 16 or older — we don't show it on your profile).

• Profile: photo, bio, pronouns, city, favorite verse, links, linked accounts you choose to connect, your church and groups (you can hide your church).

• What you post and share: videos, photos, captions, comments, prayer requests, testimonies and journeys, 3:16 moments, stories, live streams, replays, reactions, prayers ("I prayed"), notes and highlights in the Bible reader, and the sounds you use.

• Messages: direct and group messages, voice notes and calls you make. Messages are stored on our servers so you can access them across devices. They are not end-to-end encrypted at this time.

• Prayer requests sent to a church's prayer team are shared with that church's prayer team only.

• Anonymous posts: your identity is hidden from other users but stored with the post so our team can keep people safe and act on reports.

• Church and organization pages: information you provide to create, verify and manage a page, including documents and contact details used for verification.

• Website sign-ups: if you join the early-access list or apply for the Founding 100 on kingdom316.com, we collect the details you submit (for example, name, email, church or creator information).

• Support and reports: what you tell us when you contact us, report something or appeal a decision.

3. Information collected automatically

• Usage: what you view and interact with (for example, videos watched, likes, prayers, follows, searches), time spent and features used, to run and improve the feed and keep the Service safe.

• Device and connection: device model, operating system, app version, language, region setting, time zone, IP address and identifiers needed for security, crash reports and push notifications.

• Approximate location: we infer your general area from your IP address and your phone's region setting (for example, to show the right crisis-line number and local churches). If you add a location to a post or allow it, we use that location. We don't track your precise location in the background.

• Cookies on our website: small files that remember your language choice, keep you signed in to Church Studio and protect against abuse. We don't use advertising cookies at this time.

4. Information from others

• Contacts (optional): if you choose to find friends from your contacts, phone numbers and emails are matched in a hashed (scrambled) form on our servers and are not stored as readable contact lists. [Implementation detail to confirm before launch.]

• Other people: when people mention you, tag you, share your posts, pray for you, invite you or include you in a group or church.

• Linked services: basic information from accounts you choose to connect (for example, Instagram or Spotify), according to the permissions you grant.

• Churches: a church you join may confirm your membership.

5. How we use information

• To provide the Service: create your account, show your profile and posts, deliver messages and notifications, run live streams and replays, prayer chains, groups and church pages.

• To personalize your experience, including the feed, suggestions (people, churches, creators, sounds) and the language and Bible translation you see.

• To translate content between languages when you ask (see "Service providers" below). Scripture is never machine-translated.

• To keep people safe: detect and act on spam, scams, abuse and impersonation; review reports; respond to people who may be at risk of self-harm with crisis resources; enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines; and protect younger members.

• To measure, fix and improve the Service, including research and testing.

• To communicate with you about the Service, security and policy changes, and (if you agree) news and invitations.

• To comply with the law, respond to legal requests and prevent harm.

Legal bases (EU/UK): performance of our contract with you; your consent (including explicit consent for sensitive information, and for optional features such as contacts); our legitimate interests in keeping the Service safe, secure and useful (balanced against your rights); and legal obligations. [Counsel to finalize.]

6. Who can see your information

• Public by default: your name, username, photo, bio, public posts, followers and following lists (unless you change these), and public comments. You can make your account private and choose audiences for posts, prayer requests and lists in Settings → Privacy.

• Friends, circles, groups and churches: content you share with these audiences is visible to their members.

• Anonymous posts: visible to others without your identity; Kingdom 316 staff can see who posted.

• Church teams: prayer requests sent to a church's prayer team; your membership request to that church.

7. How we share information

• Service providers who help us run Kingdom 316, under contracts that limit their use of your data — for example, cloud hosting and storage ([Vercel, Heroku, Cloudflare — to confirm]), video streaming, email and SMS delivery, push notifications, translation, crash reporting and customer support tools.

• Safety, legal and emergency: with law enforcement, authorities or others when we believe in good faith it's required by law or necessary to protect someone's life, safety or rights, including reporting child sexual exploitation as required by law.

• Business transfers: if Kingdom 316 is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred, subject to this Policy.

• With your direction: when you share to other apps, link accounts or ask us to.

We don't sell personal information and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete content it's removed from the Service, and when you delete your account we begin deleting your information within [30] days, with copies in backups removed within [90] days. We may keep certain information longer where needed for safety, legal obligations, resolving disputes or preventing repeat abuse (for example, records of accounts removed for serious violations). Live replays on church pages are kept for 90 days unless published by the page.

9. Your choices and rights

• In the app: edit your profile, change who can see your posts and lists, make your account private, hide your church, control notifications, block, mute or restrict people, hide your Founding badge, and delete content or your account.

• Your rights: depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, download (portability), delete or restrict the use of your information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact [privacy@kingdom316.com]. We won't discriminate against you for using these rights.

• California and other U.S. states: we don't sell or share personal information as those laws define it. You can request access, deletion or correction and appeal our decision. [Counsel to confirm state-specific notices.]

• EU/UK: you can complain to your local data protection authority. [EU/UK representative and DPO details — to be confirmed.]

10. Younger members

Kingdom 316 is for people 16 and older. We don't knowingly allow anyone younger to use the Service; if we learn an account belongs to someone under 16, we'll delete it. Members aged 16–17 get a teen account with additional protections until they turn 18: only friends can message them, we don't suggest their account to people they don't know, others can't download their videos, and they can't host personal live streams. Their account also starts private, with comments and mentions from friends only, sensitive content hidden and quiet hours at night (they can change these). [Counsel to confirm this list.]

11. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep your login safe.

12. International transfers

We're based in [the United States] and may process information in other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for transfers (for example, Standard Contractual Clauses). [Counsel to finalize.]

13. Changes to this Policy

We'll update this Policy as the Service changes. If changes are significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
