Child safety standards
Kingdom 316, the Christian social app made by Kingdom 316 LLC, has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page sets out our standards, how we protect younger members and how to report a concern.
Zero tolerance
Our Community Guidelines apply to everything on Kingdom 316: posts, comments, prayer requests, messages, live streams, groups, prayer chains and church pages. We don’t allow:
- Sexual content involving anyone under 18, in any form.
- Grooming, or sexualized contact with minors.
- Nudity, pornography or sexually explicit content of any kind — Kingdom 316 is a community that includes 16- and 17-year-olds.
Adults shouldn’t seek private contact with members aged 16–17 they don’t know. Church leaders should follow their church’s safeguarding policies on Kingdom 316 too.
Kingdom 316 is for people 16 and older
We ask for your birthday when you sign up, and we don’t create an account for anyone under 16. Your birthday is never shown on your profile.
Think an account belongs to someone under 16? Report it with the Under 16 reason. We lock the account until we’ve checked the person’s age, and close it if they’re under 16.
Extra protections for 16- and 17-year-olds
Members aged 16 or 17 get a teen account. Until their 18th birthday, these protections are always on and can’t be turned off:
- Only friends can message them or mention them.
- We don’t suggest their account to people they don’t know.
- Nobody can download their videos.
- They can’t host personal live streams (they can still watch lives and help their church’s page go live).
- Their city is only shown to their friends.
- Their profile isn’t shown on the web: someone who opens a link to it without logging in sees only the name, username and photo, and teens’ posts are never shown on public web pages.
A teen account also starts private, with comments from friends only, sensitive content hidden, quiet hours at night and a screen-time reminder. Teens can change these in Settings.
How to report
In the app, tap the three dots on a post, comment, story, live, message or profile, choose Report, and pick a reason:
- A child may be at risk — sexual content or exploitation involving a minor, or grooming.
- Under 16 — the account may belong to someone under 16.
Reports are anonymous: the person is never told who reported them. You can follow your reports in Settings and privacy > Account status.
If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number or the police first.
What we do
- Child safety and under-16 reports go to the top of our review queue as urgent.
- We remove content that breaks these standards and ban the accounts responsible. Logging back in doesn’t undo a ban.
- We keep the report, a record of what we removed and the action we took.
- We report child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement, as required by law.
